About Sterncastle Publishing
Founded in the seaside gem of Newport, OR in 2022, Sterncastle Publishing is an independent, traditional publisher of fiction, folklore, poetry, memoir, and biography.
Sterncastle Publishing seeks to bring greater equity to the literary landscape and build a brand based on elevating voices and telling stories that need to be told. This means creating more opportunities for publication for authors who identify in groups historically underrepresented in mainstream publishing including but not limited to: military veterans, women, Black, Indigenous, Latino, LGBTQ+, and adaptive/differently-abled.
Our Folklore Team is currently seeking manuscripts which cover material from underrepresented cultures, especially those that are recently extinct or in danger of becoming extinct.
